CREAMY CAJUN CHICK’N PASTA by sixvegansisters

INGREDIENTS
2 cups uncooked pasta
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups unsweetened, non-dairy milk (we prefer rice milk)
3 1/2 tbs. all purpose flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt (add more to taste)
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 Gardein Crispy Tenders or your favorite chick’n
DIRECTIONS
Cook the pasta according to package instructions (we like this gluten free brand)
Sauté the chick’n for ~5 minutes on each side and slice
While chick’n & pasta are cooking, sauté the garlic in a non-stick pan for ~3 minutes
Add the milk (here is a good rice milk), flour & nutritional yeast (try out this kind) to the garlic and whisk until fully incorporated
Let cook for ~5-7 minutes, stirring until desired thickness is reached
Add all spices & lemon juice (limit or omit the cayenne pepper if you do not like spice)
Stir in cooked pasta and sliced chick’n
Top with additional nutritional yeast and enjoy!
