last year has seen my largest growth. With over 90k of you have added to my 120K that I reached exactly a year ago. What’s changed this year? Slowing down & doing things with purpose. I’ve done less posts this year than previous years. I used to wake up every day, take a huge breath & just hustle & bustle to keep pumping out photos for each day, write down the caption and hashtags and exhale as it’s posting. It’s sustainable but is it worth it? My photos ended up looking the same, without any sort of purpose or thought. This year I feel so much more content waking up and letting the flow of the photo take place rather than forcing it. Trust your process.

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened oat milk
1 cup coffee, warm
1/2 cup of coconut oil, melted
2 T of apple cider vinegar
2 cups of all purpose flour
2 cups of sugar
3/4 cup of cocoa
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of baking powder

Method:
I made this cake once to create 2 6 inch sized cakes & three cupcakes
Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare your pans:
Prepare your buttermilk: combine the vinegar in your milk.
Sift all your dry ingredients in one bowl.
Add your wet ingredients in a separate bowl,
Pour your wet ingredients into the dry.
Stir until combined & mixed well.
Pour into your prepared pans.
Cook for 45 minutes or until firm.

Chocolate coconut butter cream
Two cans of coconut cream, chilled, remove the cream only & save the water for a smoothie.
1/2 cup of cacao powder
1 1/2 cup of icing sugar
Adjust icing sugar if it’s too water or add another 1/4 cup of cacao powder. It should firm up after mixing all the ingredients together.

Frost your cake & decorate 🙂

  1. @ennersavitha look at this beauty! Reminds me of your food posts, my eye drools over the pic then my brain is shocked at the simple ingredients and think I can make this! And then my brain laughs and restates that Savi could make this and offer me a slice 😆
