Veggie Stirfry with Tofu by plantbasedrd 🤤 Loaded with mushroom broccoli and peppers! How to below:
Baked Tofu: 1 block tofu (drained and pressed then cut into cubes), 2 tsp garlic chili sauce, 1 tbsp tamari, and 1 tbsp nutritional yeast. Add tofu cubes to a container and add in remaining ingredients. Seal container and give container some gentle shakes to completely coat tofu. Once coated add to a lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 400F. .
For veggie stir fry, in a pan add sliced mushrooms and onion and sauté until onions are translucent. Add in hearty veggies like broccoli, add a splash of tamari and 2 tbsp water. Cover pan and let cook until broccoli has turned bright green, about 4-5 minutes. Add less hearty veggies like bell pepper and add another splash of tamari and a splash of sweet chili sauce (I used about 1 tbsp). Sauté until veggies are fully coated and most of the liquid cooks off, 3 minutes. Add in tofu and coat before removing from heat. Served this mix with lotusfoods brown jasmine rice.
